Vegan French Toast

Try this vegan french toast recipe for a delicious weekend brunch. This classic breakfast is quick and easy to make and will guarantee happy tummies all round.


Organic Brioche or Sourdough loaf

1 tsp Biona Organic Coconut Oil

150ml Almond Milk

1 1/4 tsp Biona Organic Coconut Sugar

1 flat tbsp plain flour

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 tbsp nutritional yeast


Fresh Fruit

Biona Organic Maple Syrup (optional)


  1. Combine almond milk, sugar, flour, cinnamon and yeast in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Add a teaspoon coconut oil to a large frying pan and heat on low.
  3. Dunk slices of bread into cinnamon mixture.
  4. Once the coconut oil is hot, add the slices and cook for a few minutes on each side until golden in colour and crispy.
  5. Slather with fresh fruit and maple syrup.
