Senior National Account Manager (SNAM)
Windmill Organics is one of the leading organic food companies in the UK, established over 30 years ago. As a family business, our mission is to protect the well-being of both people and the planet; by providing organic, healthy and innovative products through our 6 brands (Biona, RAW, Amisa, Profusion, Bonsan & Biofair), to customers in over 40 countries across the world.
We are looking for a highly skilled and effective National Account Manager with a passion for our mission, to come and hit the ground running to help us rapidly expand. The role will be very varied but will provide unrivalled opportunities for growth and progression in a very fast-growing company. The NAM will need to be extremely comfortable nurturing and growing existing/new supermarket accounts.
National account management responsibilities:
- Full P&L responsibility for the customers in your portfolio.
- Negotiate trade terms, joint business plans, price increases, promotional plans and activation.
- Increase distribution of existing range, gain new listings and launch NPDs.
- Pursue new business opportunities across key UK and EU markets.
- Line manage 2 junior members of the team.
- Build a strong working relationship with the customers engaging stakeholders at all levels and represent the Company with pride in all relevant forums.
- Monitor performance of commercial
activities and prepare monthly reports for senior leadership team. - Annual planning and budgeting.
Requirements:
- Previous NAM experience within at least 2 of the major supermarkets with full responsibility over P&L, JBP + Budget where applicable. Experience with Ocado/Amazon would be an advantage.
- Prior people management experience beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of market trends
including competitor activity and industry innovations. - Strategic, analytical and
commercially minded with attention to detail. - Drive, determination and commitment to get things done.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Result driven and confident to achieve Company targets.
