Vegan Spicy Peanut Tofu Skewers

Grilled aromatic tofu skewers topped with a fragrant peanut sauce, the perfect healthy addition to your BBQ this summer.


Note: soak wooden skewers in water for 30 mins prior to assembly.


Biona Organic Tofu x 1 jar

Tofu marinade: 

1 tsp bouillon paste

2 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp soy sauce

4 tbsp water

1/2 tsp cumin

1 tsp smoked paprika

2 tsp chili flakes

8 g (1 clove) minced garlic


Peanut Sauce 

 80 g Biona smooth peanut butter

1 lime juiced

3 tbsp soy sauce

3 tbsp water

3 tbsp sesame oil

1 tsp chili flakes

1 tsp ginger powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp sriracha


  1. Cut Biona Organic tofu into 3/4" cubes, set aside.
  2. To a bowl combine marinade ingredients. Add Biona tofu and toss to coat. Allow to marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  3. While the tofu marinates combine all the Biona smooth peanut butter sauce ingredients whisk until smooth. Set aside.
  4. Divide tofu between the skewers and place on grill. Barbecue each skewer until crispy and golden. Brush with extra marinade halfway through cooking to infuse with more flavour.
  5. Drizzle with peanut sauce and serve.
