Cinnamon Apple and Peanut Butter Toast

Ingredients

1 gala apple, chopped into small pieces

Pinch of cinnamon seasoning

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp cornstarch 

½ tsp vanilla extract

A squeeze of lemon juice 

2 slices Biona Super Seed Bread

2 tbsp Biona Smooth Peanut Butter 

Handful of raisins

Method

  1. Begin by preparing the cinnamon apples by adding chopped apples, cinnamon, a dash of water, brown sugar, cornstarch, vanilla and lemon juice into a saucepan over medium heat. Boil slightly and stir until caramelized. Once caramelised, set aside to cool.
  2. Toast your super seed bread slightly, then top with smooth peanut butter and spoon on the cinnamon apples.
  3. Finally, sprinkle on raisins and enjoy this tasty seasonal breakfast.
