Plant-Based Strawberry Chocolate Bites

2 tsp Biona Raw Virgin Coconut Oil

150g plant-based dark chocolate bar

200g strawberries, chopped

6 tbsp plant-based yoghurt - we recommend our Homemade Coconut Yoghurt


  1. In a small bowl, combine the strawberries and yoghurt. Spoon onto a lined baking tray to form bite sized portions. Place in the freezer for 1 hour or until hardened.

  2. Create a bain-marie by filling a saucepan with around 4 inches of water. Next, place a larger heat proof bowl on top of the saucepan to cover it. Place the saucepan over a medium heat until the water has boiled.

  3. Break up the chocolate bar. Add the chocolate and coconut oil to the bain-marie. Warm through whilst continuously stirring until completely melted. 

  4. Remove the yoghurt bites from the freezer and coat them in the melted chocolate. Place back into the freezer for a further hour or until the chocolate has hardened.

  5. Enjoy as a sweet treat in the sunshine!
