Viral Chocolate Date Brownie Balls

Ingredients

300g Medjool dates, pitted

5 tbsp oat flour

3 tbsp cocoa powder

2 tbsp Biona Pure Amber Maple Syrup

2 tbsp Biona Smooth Almond Butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

100g dark chocolate, melted

Pinch of sea salt flakes

A handful of crushed pistachios

Method

  1. In a food processor, add the medjool dates, oat flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond butter and vanilla extract, and blend until the mixture forms a thick, fudgy dough.
  2. Next, roll small handfuls of dough into little balls. This recipe makes around 12 balls.
  3. In a small bowl, roll the brownie balls in melted dark chocolate so they are fully coated, then place on a tray lined with parchment paper, top with some sea salt flakes and crushed pistachios. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until the chocolate is fully set.
  4. Once fully set, you are ready to enjoy this delicious, fudgy treat.
