I sprout these for 3 parrots (they love sprouted hemp!) and did so successfully for almost 18 months. I had the odd bag that didn’t sprout as well, but they still sprouted. My last 3 bags contained lots of green seeds and wouldn’t sprout. All I got was very smelly jars where maybe 10 sprouted. At that point the smell was too bad to continue trying further. Although there was no visible signs of bacteria the odour suggested otherwise!

Thank you very much for your excellent service and dispatch time. The parcel arrived in great condition and delivery was super fast. The seeds looked so fresh and clean not at all drying out. So far have used them mixed with a flour containing 7 other seeds to make a lovely rye seed bread. The only thing I would do differently is soak them overnight so that they wouldn't be quite so crunchy . I try to look over all the wonderful variety of goods in the biona store to see what other seed or grain is available .My only problem is that there are so many interesting items I tend to read about it and I don't get to see the whole store 🙂
