Vegan Cinnamon Hot Chocolate

We partnered up with one of our favourite home-ware brands, Emma Bridgewater.  We created a series of delicious festive recipes, which we have served in their wonderful handmade ceramic creations. Treat yourself to a warming mug of this indulgent hot chocolate. Made with our Organic Coconut milk and Organic Agave Syrup. 


2 cups Biona Organic Coconut Milk

1 cup water

Biona Agave Syrup to taste

1/4 -1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup cacao powder

1 pinch sea salt

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Vegan squirty cream


  1. Heat the milk and water in a medium saucepan. Once it comes to a simmer, reduce heat slightly and whisk in cocoa powder, sea salt and cinnamon. Whisk vigorously to incorporate.
  2. Once the cocoa is hot enough for your liking (about 3-5 minutes), remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Stir once more.
  3. Pour in hot cocoa and top with vegan squirty cream!
