Falafel Buddha Bowl with Beetroot Sauerkraut

Serves: 2 Prep: 30_minutes


Full of fibre and organic goodness this beetroot falafel salad bowl makes for the perfect lunch box filler. Made with our ruby sauerkraut and a host of healthy, nutrient packed ingredients to nourish your body and feed your gut.


Biona Organic falafels (choose your favourite!)

100g cooked quinoa 

2 handfuls of kale 

Biona Organic Beetroot Sauerkraut

Biona Organic Lemon juice

Biona Organic Olive oil

Seasame seeds




  1. Place the falafels into a frying pan over a medium heat with a small drizzle of olive oil. Fry gently until piping hot.  
  2. Massage the kale with the olive oil and lemon juice until soft. 
  3. Serve the falafels & kale with the cooked quinoa, hummus, sliced avocado and most importantly the beetroot sauerkraut - loads of it!  
  4. Sprinkle everything with sesame seeds.
