JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Join Windmill Organics, a rapidly expanding company dedicated to its mission, as a dynamic and creative Junior Designer. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our Design Manager, Sales Director, and Marketing Manager to craft compelling visual assets that resonate with our audience and uphold our brand standards.

This will be a junior role in which you’ll gain exposure to multiple
marketing and design disciplines and provide vital support to our teams.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Produce high-quality design deliverables across various platforms, including print and digital media, trade adverts, e commerce content, point of-sale materials, and social media posts.
  • Manage and develop engaging graphic content for sales and marketing initiatives, including presentation decks, catalogues, social media graphics, brochures, and more.
  • Assist with artworking tasks such as reformatting, resizing, and adapting artwork for different mediums.
  • Support the creation of ad hoc assets requested by other teams/stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on design trends and software advancements to continuously enhance our visual identity.

These tasks are subject to change and will vary throughout the role.


Skills Required:

We’re looking for a motivated, accountable and organised individual who’s eager to learn and get stuck in. To succeed, you’ll need:

  • Minimum 6 months of relevant design experience in a commercial environment, preferably FMCG.
  • Bachelor's degree in a design-related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing layout skills, technical expertise, and creative thinking.
  • Efficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and presentation tools like Google Slides and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of graphic design principles, typography, and brand consistency.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Resilient and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Passion for food, drink, and sustainability, with a sense of humour and a positive outlook.
