Quality Assurance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager who is passionate about food and quality to manage our quality systems both internally and with our contract manufacturers. The role will also involve managing our quality assurance team.


Quality Management responsibilities:

  • Drive food safety and quality standards within the company
  • Agree full product and packaging specifications with manufacturers
  • Ensure robust quality checks are in place
  • Work collaboratively with quality teams at manufacturing sites
  • Investigate product non-conformances at a higher level
  • Ensure we are complying with product label regulations
  • Implement product and compliance testing processes
  • Audit QA systems and introduce new ones if need be
  • Full responsibility over recalls/withdrawals including facilitating dummy recalls 2x per year
  • Improve and reduce packaging
  • Drive continuous improvement within quality team
  • Responsible for annual quality audits
  • Project manage and lead on enhancing our overall sustainability credentials

Team management responsibilities:

  • Manage quality assurance team.
  • Determine and monitor KPIs


  • 4+ years’ experience in a Quality role within a food FMCG company
  • Knowledge of food EU/Packaging laws
  • Familiar / trained with BRC and IFS standards
  • In-depth understanding of product quality, QA and QC systems
  • Food Science / related Degree or equivalent
  • Management experience
