Vegan Cinnamon Hot Chocolate

Serves: 2 | Prep: 2 minutes | Cook: 5 minutes


We partnered up with one of our favourite home-ware brands, Emma Bridgewater.  We created a series of delicious festive recipes, which we have served in their wonderful handmade ceramic creations. Treat yourself to a warming mug of this indulgent hot chocolate. Made with our Organic Coconut milk and Organic Agave Syrup. 


  • 2 cups Biona Organic Coconut Milk
  • 1 cup water
  • Biona Agave Syrup to taste
  • 1/4 -1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Vegan squirty cream


  • Heat the milk and water in a medium saucepan. Once it comes to a simmer, reduce heat slightly and whisk in cocoa powder, sea salt and cinnamon. Whisk vigorously to incorporate.
  • Once the cocoa is hot enough for your liking (about 3-5 minutes), remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Stir once more.
  • Pour in hot cocoa and top with vegan squirty cream!
