Covid-19: A message from Biona’s founders

During this challenging time, we want to share with you what we’re doing to support you and all our customers.

As a company we are committed to looking after the health and well-being of our customers and our staff. We’re ensuring that we can look after everyone in the best possible way by working very closely with our suppliers and logistics partners to ensure the smooth flow of all our products to our retail partners.

Our online delivery service is of course experiencing high demand and we expect this to continue. We’ve added additional resource to our teams so that we can cope with this demand and are working round the clock to get your orders packed and on their way to you as soon as possible.

We echo the statement put out by our retailer partners, “We would ask everyone to be considerate in the way they shop. We understand your concerns but buying more than is needed can sometimes mean that others will be left without. There is enough for everyone if we all work together”.

So please don’t panic, our groceries are in stock, though it may take a little longer to process an order or get a delivery to you. Rest assured we are doing all we can to look after our customers and if you do need to get in touch, here’s how you can do it:

When you order direct through our site, here are some things to consider:

Website experience – please be patient as the site may be busier than usual at times, so pages and payments may take longer to load and process.

Place your orders in advance – think ahead and give yourself time. We don’t operate delivery slots but we do process orders in the order that they arrive.

Order what you need – please think about others. We are placing limits on some groceries but this shouldn’t affect you if you buy considerately.

Deliveries – You will no longer be asked to sign the couriers handheld unit when accepting your delivery, your driver will drop to your doorstep as usual but they may not be able to carry inside or hand over to you. We ask you to take care if your order is heavy.

We hope that this helps reassure you that we are doing our absolute best to support you during this time. For now, we are sending our warmest wishes; eat well, stay positive and please continue look out for each other.
